A multihead weigher is a packaging machine used to weigh and dispense products accurately and efficiently. It is especially useful in the food industry for agricultural products, cheeses at various stages of ripeness, fresh and frozen meats and fish, ready meals, pet food, candies, sweets, and more.
The Multihead Weigher checks the amount of product in each hopper and, using an algorithm designed by EXAKTApack, combines the weights of the product from several hoppers to discharge the exact programmed quantity. This product can be discharged directly onto a horizontal or vertical Doypack packaging machine, or onto a conveyor belt that will carry it to the packaging machine.
While one discharge is in progress, the algorithm is already calculating and combining weights for a new discharge, thus optimizing the process and achieving high production.
Multihead weighers with 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 24, and 32 heads. Hoppers with capacities of 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 5, and 7 liters. Made of stainless steel. Easy to clean and maintain.
