Dynamic checkweigher are used in the food and non-food industry to ensure the quality and consistency of freshly packaged products in terms of their weight. It allows you to automatically control and adjust the weight of packaged products to ensure that they meet the established specifications.
Description of operation
1. Conveyor system: The checkweigher is equipped with a conveyor system that allows continuous movement of packaged products through the machine.
2. Automatic Weighing: As packaged products move through the conveyor system, they undergo an automatic weighing process.
This is achieved through the use of precise and calibrated weight sensors that measure the weight of each product individually.
3. Comparison with target values: Target weight values are previously established based on packaged product specifications. These values can be fixed or allow a tolerance range. Once the weight of a packaged product has been measured, it is compared to target values to determine if it is within acceptable limits.
4. Classification and automatic control: If the weight of the packaged product is within the acceptable limits, it is allowed to continue its journey without additional intervention. However, if the weight is outside the established limits, an automatic classification mechanism is activated. This involves diverting the product onto a reject track.
5. Data recording: The checkweigher also records and stores the weighing data of each packaged product. This data can be used for quality control, production monitoring and statistical analysis to improve packaging processes and adjust target weights if necessary.
